So where does the Richter sit in the range then? Doesn't seem as common as Avalanche which has similar spec. Picked one up on Sat, think it's '92 or '93 judging by the DX with XT RF+ 7 speed shifters. It's 16" with 22" top tube, black with white graphics. Has Groove Tube & replaceable hanger. Araya polished rims, can't remember the model. Think seat tube is 26.6 (can't read the original, 26.4 post feels a bit slack, 26.8 won't go in.)
Will probably sell as bit small for me, haven't finished the Eldridge yet & now may finally have '93 Explosif coming.

Both Cyclone and later Psyclone were fillet brazed wich makes a big difference to a bravado/avalanche imho

Just checked - my '92 Richter has True Temper GTX double butted tubes.

i have owned a 98 psyclone and a 98 karakoram, i sold the psyclone, 1 of the biggest mistakes in bikes i have ever made. the karakoram got nicked because my brother left it in his garden!!!

i have just got a 96 karakoram, it's in the process of being done, can't wait for it to be finished.
