GT RTS Help.

Hi, I need help in removing the main pivot bushes from my 94 GT RTS. Has anyone got any advice or any experience in doing this. Thanks all.

Tere must be someone out there who has any good ideas. Pleeeeease.

You should just be able to undo the bolts that hold the rear triangle and remove that, then use a screwdriver or equivalent through the centre hole on one bearing through to the other, then tap it out. That's how it was on my rts-2, never had to try on any other, but I'd assume the same principle applies.

Cheers mate. It's the pivot that is half way down the seat post that's the problem, I wonder if ther was a way of removing them without damaging them or the frame.

I used the above method on that pivot, and damaged neither.
