wonder if that's our speedplay?

Its an rts-1....as I took the battered old stickers off it when I got it.
Have a look through the forum and youll see the old pics.

Surely if it was an RTS-1 it would have the piggy-back shock, not the straight one?

Plenty of 1's dont have the piggy back. In fact, IIRC the piggy back was an upgrade.

Looking through the catalogues it seems that the piggy-back shock was introduced at the smae time as the alu rear end in '94; the photo looks like an alu rear end and a straight shock which deosn't seem correct...

Even the RTS-2 had a piggyback in the german '94 catalogue; all this proves is that this frame doesn't have the same shock as an OEM german GT RTS from 1994.

AFAIK a Team or 1 has a 6061 frame, while a 2 or 3 is 7005. No idea how to tell apart a team or 1, are they just the same frame in differant spec? The flat back stamped top-tube works for Zaskars and i've seen RTS's with 'em, but that's all i know there.

What do they come stamped with? Zaskers kindly have size, date and frame material as well as the tell-tale flat stamped top-tube, but RTS's confuse me a little. Where's that american dude that collects and sells GT's?? :)

The 6061 sticker is still on this bike and as for the frame numbers, i dont think it was as simple as the zaskars :( shame really.
