1993 GT RST2 for sale as I'm cutting down on my bikes.
It's big , c-t 22inch , c-c 20 inches. I'm 6ft2 with 33" inside leg. The bike is set up for me in the pictures.
I got the frame on here , it's in good structural order. The paint is good with scratches and chips consistent with age. The decals are ok with some bits touched in. It has a new Ritchey headset fitted. It also has the all important canti roller. The worst bit is the chain stay which can be seen in the pics.
The forks were also bought from here , brand new in box. I've replaced the weedy single spring with double spring and elastomer set up. The steerer is uncut.
The wheels are LX hubs with Mavic rims. They run a bit rough and the rear is a bit out and could do with the spokes tensioned. These are probably the worst bit about he bike. 7 sp cassette.
Both mechs are correct period LX as are the brakes/shifters. The cranks are Exage which were quite a bit lighter then the LX ones I had.
Bars and grips are Ritchey. Stem is unbranded.
Tyres are Panaracer Trail Rakers which are great in the wet and dry.
Saddle is an old scrap Marin lite which has seen better days.
I reckon that £175 posted or £155 collected is a fare price and won't leave me out of pocket (much)
