Hi guys, I got a GT Rave frame as Karma not so long ago..

It has a crack on the seat tube. But it's horizontal. I think a sleeve on the outside of the tube will hold well enough to keep it together. Plus a really long seatpost..

It came with parts, but the plans right now are to use what I can from my Peugeot to make this rideable and hopefully I can clock up some road miles.

It was specced with EX and RSX and I'll be using EX and RSX.

Should ride really well. It's my size and I loved my last Steel tubed Road bike.

I have a few pics of the frame as it is now.. I've had it a few weeks but I've not cleaned it or checked it yet as my other bikes and parts are at another relatives house.

I'll upload pics in a minute and hopefully a built pic on Monday. (Nothing else too build/do until my new MTB frame comes)

Pics of it right now.

It's all built. :)

Well.. Almost, needs bar tape and tubes maybe..

It was fun too build. Had to swap out a chainring and cranks. The ones that came with the frame had pedal screws made from cheese so it stripped the threads.

Also used a seatpost I got Karma from Ernie. It was cracked so I cut the tube below the crack and fitted it into the frame. It's all good now.

It looks great and I think it'll ride well too. It's all set for me, just need a pump now that'll work too the PSI I need/want.

Plus I have a problem with the downtube shifters.. They're 8 speed and my wheels are 7.

Drivetrain is RSX rear mech, not sure of the cranks, they say ofmega, FD is EX300

Pics here.

That's looking really good, GT road bikes look great. And you've had a good dose of Karma there mate - the only thing I have received for free during any of my builds is questions from the wife about why I'm in the garage...
