Yours looks like a 1994 (same style of decals as my old Zaskar). I just ran some ordinary brake cable outer between the stop on the top-tube and the groove-tube, then ran the cable inner through it and to the brakes.

I have a spare NOS plastic noodle (as pictured above) if anyone needs one... they might be the same as Kona rerouters too.

Thanks all. Ultra helpful as usual. I have got the little blighters working although I have had to put one canti spring in the middle hole and the other side in the top one to allow for the uneven non middle pull.

I'm going to test them later but suspect they will work better than the very flexy, cheap V's that were on there.
