GT Outpost Trail - What Year?

I rescued this from going to the scrap man at the weekend. Can anybody identify what year it is from, I have looked through some old GT calalogues from '95 onwards but can't find this spec in the yellow colour? I don't have any close ups but it is 3x7 and runs Shimano Acera.

1994 would be my guess. the 1994 catalogue shows it as black or red, but the bike is very similar and sometimes colours varied by country
