Hi,

That 3x1 drivetrain is a rare thing to see :) Great job on the build, it is definitely a unique version with some nice details! One final touch-up could be getting a new decal set from for example Gil (Retrodecals), so you would get the lightning decal also on the other side and to change the front badge to a version with same color set. Enjoy the ride!

Btw, I feel your pain on the matter of winter (being here in Finland..)

:) Thanks Dami!

I'd been looking for replacement GT decals on eBay with no luck so far.... best I could come up with was the newer headbadge. It would be great to see the bike with a full new set!

I'll see if your recommendation (Gil) can create something for this GT.

I appreciate the help

Re:

Nice build. First time I've ever seen a 3x1 drivetrain as well. Puts me in the mood to build up the 16" one I've had gathering dust for a couple of years, possibly as my first single speed.

 very nice indeed. Looks like it will be great to ride and will be good to see it when its out and about.

Hot damn! You gotta love a Lightning. Such a good looking frame.

Nice build, also digging the 3x1.
