GT lightning 1998 titanium 17"

GT Lightning was only available in 1997 and was a Taiwan-made frame and brushed.

If you want 1998 you have to go Xizang.

GT Xizang was available from 1990-99 and always polished except 1999 (white team colours). USA made and ridden in the World Cup.

And there is no official 17inch. Framesizes were usually 16, 18, 19, 20 inch; GT-style measured; i.e. the frames are a bit larger than the number suggests. If you usually need 17inch frames, look for a 16inch GT.

They were built in Taiwan in 1997 and 1998. 97 Has the Blue/Grey White decal and the 98 and Red/Black/White decals.

I think I have the bike you’re looking for. I bought it in the 90s I don’t know when exactly. GT lightning titanium. It literally has all the original parts on it the only thing that was changed was the neck and the seat. I still have the original neck and see for it but everything on the bike is original including the tires.
