GT / Groove tube query.....

OK. First time with groove tube. All cables (except front brake) disappear into groove tube at the front. This I understand. Even sussed out how rear brake routes - cos Pickle left the cable on.... Would have been lost without mate, cheers. But, not clear how front and rear mech cables emerge from the rear of the groove tube, and route to the respective shifters. Any body got close up piccys ? Or instructions even an idiot could understand.... Forgot to say - this is a u-brake '92 Karakoram, no fixed cable stops, plastic cross over wideget on the seat tube........maybe the front mech cable just kinda runs around this - looks to be a guide pointing downwards.....

I used to own a 1992 Bravado BITD which was the first year they introduced the groove tube.
I've included a picture below (which isn't my bike sadly) which gives a pretty good idea of how to route your cables.
Make sure the rear mech cable runs along the right of the groove. It will exit and then run straight down to the cable boss on the chainstay, (and then on to the rear mech).
Run the front mech cable along the left side of the groove to exit and wrap around the plastic guide just underneath the brake cable guide. The front mech cable should then run directly down to your top pull front mech.

Hope this helps.
