GT Frame - Anyone know what model this is ?

I picked this up a while back as it had some choice upgrades and was a good price. It's obviously been resprayed so I was wondering if anyone can ID the frame from the serial number. I'm making the wild assumption that it's a 1990 as the serial number starts with 90. Groupset was DX and the closest match would be Avalance but the rear brake is wrong as are the Rims, DX on Ritchey as opposed to Araya Rm17. Looking inside the headtube you can see some purple paint so perhaps Karakoram but then that had an LX groupset according to the catalogue. Truth be told I will probably sell it as I'm not a huge GT fan and already have a 92 Bravado sitting here to restore but it would be nice to be able to list it with some confidence as to what frameset it is.

The frame number confirms it is 1990 (Feb). If it was a year later I could tell the model from the rest of the number, but I am not sure with 1990.

No integrated seatpost clamp = Karakoram or above. Components suggest Karakoram K2 but the purple would steer towards a Purple Haze Karakoram (with upgrades) so it depends whether the purple in the headtube is the correct colour and original.
