GT Continuum tyres

Does anyone have two 700D 1.4 tyres (ISO 587mm) ... maybe GT Crossovers ... or know of any bike shop which may have two or more tyres gathering dust in their workshop on that last hook in the back corner.

Currently fitted with GT Crossover tyres but these are FAILNG fast ... aka "now unrideable"

Would love to hear from you so that I can get my GT Continuum up and running/rolling again.

Tubes would be a bonus ....

Cheers

Re:

Probably best to move this to the 'Wanted' Forum I reckon..

I'm sorry to say I haven't any of the tyres and they are indeed becoming quite hard to track down.

Out of interest have you tried fitting any 650b tyres? I have a GT quatrefoil with the same 700D rims and it's wearing 650x45b tyres with no issues.

Hope this helps and good luck :)

Still looking but dodging bullets at home having it roped to/suspended from ceiling gathering dust (or as I am told "wasting space".

Anyone from bike shop read this and checked their back corners?? :-)

Ebay in the US .....you'll find some there.

I have fitted 650b tire, the Specialized Crossroads 650B onto my daughter's GT Continuum. It seems a perfect fit IN the frame and on the wheel, tight but not too tight. The tire has much higher width and volume which would permit off-roading without loosing too much efficiency in the straight line. Also, the much larger volume could be run at a lower pressure which would permit decent comfort gravel riding. The look is very different. If the system permits I will post a photo of the bike with one wheel of each tire for comparison.
No rim change needed, the bike works great with current 650B, and this is a sticky rubber tire!
