GT Backwoods V Brakes Fitment for Rear

was having a look at the bike last night and was wondering how the rear v brake will fit, it's not got a hanger for a cable to fit if that makes sense? It's got cantis at the moment, how do i get around this?

Any ideas?

i had one of these. i got a v-brake on but it never really worked that well.

i just kinda wedged the housing into the bit under the top tube.

ok thank you, is that the best that i can do? Is there not a adapter available anywhere?

nothing commercial as far as i know. what i'd do these days is look into one of the ferrules used for running cables on frames that have hydrauli disk routing.

Something like one of these from Jagwire ought to do it. Part No: CHA013
I haven't found anyone online who stocks them in small quantities though.

The other alternative would be to run a full length of outer from the brake lever to the brake.
