GT Backwoods eBay. CHEAP Team Scream.

Backwoods in itself isnt that special framewise (tho one that old might
be better made than a new Taiwan job.... anyone know).

Its a genuine GT paint job, I 've seen one on here. Can't find link but
I remember a thread about Team Scream pain jobs and someone posted
their backwoods. Therre are a few around in black with red flame but
I've not seen on of these for sale.

can anyone tell what size it is :?:

Can't decide if i'm interested or not,was never a GT fan.

But if anyone wants it i'm only 2 miles down the road so could collect & send it on.

Oh Cock !

I seem to have gone completely insane and bought the thing,
and no doubt bumped the price up with one of you guys.

I'm hoping I can get a courier to pick up from seller and bring to me,
but otherwise I might need to take up one of the kind offers to collect.

I am knee deep in a Zaskar rebuild among other things but I couldn't
resist the colour scheme. Yes I know its not a proper Team Scream
and its ONLY a Backwoods but it's a damn cool lookng piece of
GT 7005 aly for what I was about to spend on a bashring !!

   but seriously is it a custom paintjob ?

GT never did customs paint on low end bikes...a few special paint colors but not custom. I don't believe that flame paint job is original to the bike as it came from GT. Likely been repainted. Very little chance you could tell a Backwoods, from a Tempest, Pantera or anything else that 7005 GT aluminum out of Taiwan at that time.

I'd demand some closer pictures from the seller of the paint job long before hitting any bidding buttons. By the way this isn;t a Team Scream paint job....aka wanna be similar paint job to the 1996 Karakoram and Tequesta that once were available with decaled flames under the clear coat.
