GT Backwood 96 new kit

Fabyker

Retro Newbie
Hi, I'm new and I want to share with you my XC bike!

It was my father bike, just 2 years younger than me, so I grew up with her in my dreams..
8 years ago I've started training for enduro mtb racing, and father's bike was the most pedalling bike we had, so considering that he don't rode it any more, I've started my on road training with it.
After a year I've bought a road bike to improve training, so I've decid to rebuild it with new or used components in an efficient xc bike.
After 6 years, with new wheels, I'm proud of this little fast bike!

Thank you! I'm come from Abruzzo, a central Italy region. This lovely mountain is called Majella!

Yes, probably few people likes and had done a build like this.. But I 've matched love for this frame with a need to have a cheap performing xc bike :D

And now I've already bought a new sunrace 11 speed cassette 11-46 to complete this experiment
