That is indeed lovely. I had the team avalanche that year, but lovedthe zebra of this more.
Deviation form orig look to be the seatpin (was GT), the orig. had black rims, it seems to be on rapidfire plus, and the stem and bars are swapped. Originally had a flip flop to go with those wacky adjustable rake forks. Proper GT. Well tempted. . just too flinkin big

Not quite. Mine, as original, came with XT RF+ (same as this) and silver Ritchey Vantage Pro rims, not black. Not sure what rims are on this, but they are definitely correct in silver.

I have the original flip flop stem in black and original bars if any of should buy this and want them.
