Gt Arette 95

Hi can anyone help, I have just managed to Caustic soda the seat post out of my new project bike, as 95 Gt Arette. Does anyone know the correct Seat post size?????

Thanks for that but already tried a 27.2 and 27.0 but they are to big.

26.4 is a common GT seat post size. If you've had a corroded post in there make sure the seat tube is clean - I use a length of fine emery cloth warped round a half round file to gently smooth inside the tube. Has the advantage of getting rid of any crud which makes fitting a post difficult plus if you do a good job it stops the new post being scratched.
