bidding on a stem tonight, i was winning. went to increase my max bid and it wouldnt let me.....seller said no restrictions his end.

typical 30 seconds to go i get outbid.....tried to bid again, still blocked. and lost out.


any ideas what the hell went wrong? seemed as if someone blocked me from bidding.

He has seller requirements ticked ,its the only reason i can think of :?
some of them are automatic.
Have you anything your end? unpaid strike or less than X amount of feedback :?
Annoying to lose something you've been after for a while ,but to lose it through something outwith your control is understandably frustrating

Maybe karma will help and you'll find one next week and get it for 0.99p

it was a moots titanium stem, the new version too.

it went for £130!

i was willing to bid to £230! i told him that it wouldnt let me increase my max bid, i have 100% feedback etc.

no mate, i have already bought a moots seatpost just before i started bidding on the stem.

i was wondering if there is any secret going ons on ebay. ie if some folk are able to block anyone bidding etc?
