GROVE INNOVATIONS TITANIUM

That's some frame there, but some incosistencies in the build. I cannot imagine the same guy ordering a custom made Titanium frameset with an RS Indy, and there'sa few more odd elements in the mix.

That frame though ....

The first time i've ever seen a painted ti  And its not good. Plus what else is on it

The frame is older than the fork. Maybe he still has the original fork, but did he forget to list it

Pretty much all parts on the bike I would sell, swap, give away, bin etc, even though he recently spent $578 on the overhaul. I think that wasn't such a good idea. Now it is as a complete bike not interesting to both retro- and modern people, but the mega buck investment has to be earned back.

What a classy bike!

Seller obviously a bit of an innocent. He perhaps felt there might be buyers in the US who would like the frame but not fancy having to build it up themselves, although we wouldn't see it that way. And who knows, he may have paid for the update thinking he would ride it himself for a while longer but maybe found that he wasn't quite up to it?

I like the colours and I thought lots of US titanium builders used to offer paint BITD, even though it's not needed.

Bill painted all the Ti frames, I can't remember a single one that was left bare.

I remember this one coming out of the paint booth but do not remember the end customer.

Unfortunately for the seller, his perceived value is much more than the market will sustain. The last couple of Grove Ti's that have come through have hit around 500 US with much better component choices.

Regardless, once this does not sell, perhaps he can be convinced to piece it out...hmmm.

cheers,

rody
