Grove Innovations team photos and more

Retro Newbie
Here are some photos of the Grove team taken at races in Western Pa. Most the time the team raced in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. There were a couple trips to Mt. Snow Vermont and the Ross Swatch Race in Wendell State Forest in Massachusetts. Bill brought a small camping trailer to the Ross Swatch race and we slept in tents. It rained 3 of the 4 days and we used the camper for meals and to keep warm and dry clothes. I wish I had pictures from that race and I will try to locate some. I bought my Grove Assault in 1986 and still have the same bike today. Bill painted it 4 times, the last time was around 1995 when the brakes were moved from the chain stays to the seat stays.

I remember Bill setting up the bikes with low rise stems and it looks like most if not all were changed. Greg was our best rider and I remember him trying the low rise and not liking it. Thanks for the comments.
