Grove Hardcore with matching Hammerhead and shock

Will do. The bike also came with an extra hammerhead bar/stem and some other vintage spare parts, thumbies and other misc stuff...

I hope to get her all painted and here soon. But, I may have to have Bill get my 18" put together first so I can sell it and recoup some money.

Nice score! But why are you getting it repainted? The paint scheme is a big reason why the frame fetched so much money.

The one to respray was the complete bike with the burnt seat tube and a $500 BIN
OK, now I follow. To get this thread back on topic, who won the other Hard Core with the sweet paintjob?

Negative ghost rider, the $500 one it's not a real hard core, notice it doesn't have the ovalized top tube, it was a late production run to satisfy a quota.

Besides a real hard core must have the rigid fork and a hot head, so even though i like this paint job I'm going with my original plan and color. I will consult with Bill and see what he thinks though. Since he's doing all of my repaints I want to make sure he doesn't take any issue with killing one of his previous works (even if someone else actually painted it).

I do like to preserve the originals and keep them around for the sake of posterity, but I have something specific in mind and would like to see it through.

I'm getting some from Bill, I think he may have made a batch of new ones from the old designs.

They look identical to what was on my hardcore before it was stripped down.
