I tend to do the same but always have to do a try-out bid to see if bids from Europe are accepted

I didn't out it until I knew for sure the bidding was going to push beyond my bid ceiling and figured that if I'm not going to get it, maybe it can stay in the family, so to speak. Deep down inside I knew from the start that this isn't one that would slip through the cracks. There are way too many people with "Grove Innovations" in their saved searches for that to happen.
