Gripshifter Gear Cables

he might be referring to an Avid "rollamajig"

also have an original SRAM bassworm installed on the cable before the rear mech. not sure if it's necessary but i put it on BITD so there it will stay.

Chaps - a bit of a noob question , I was wondering if I needed specific gear cables for Grip shifters? (Not stripped them down yet) or can I use any cable at all?

I have an odd one for sale if you need one?

Neill, shift cables are shift cables, what makes the one you have specific for gripshift??? :? (besides what it says on the package )

Some gripshifts do work better with 1.1mm (normal 1.2mm) stainless cables
