What grips to the Gripshifts take? Can they be removed/cut down?

I think the grips are restricted to specific gripshift grips if that makes sense - never used the word grip so much in one sentence. If it helps, the grips on the actual shifters are about 80mm long and the bit that makes up the other part of the grip is 60mm. You can't cut down the shifter part as it covers a plastic moulding.

I have seen various new grips for gripshifters in different colours on ebay.

Not worried about the bar grip bit, but would like to change the shifter grip, do you know what the model number is so I can get compatible grips?
