Thanks for the warm welcome! I almost landed my first "find" today when I went to the recycling center. It appeared to be a GT with the top tube extending beyond the seat tube but it also has a short curved tubular brace between the top tube and seat tube. Looked to be full Deore with three biopace rings still in place. It still had U-brakes and the upright cantis, I am guessing early 90's with a rigid fork stock. It's been painted and looks pretty sad but I think I am going to haul it out and at least fix it up for the kids who come around looking for projects.
I have a bunch of old photos and at least one home-made film going back to the late 80's I need to get those scanned and put up for others to enjoy.
I look pretty funny with those huge Oakley Blades and a full head of hair.
