Just a quick word of thanks to the Manitou guys who searced and zapped me a Mani Comp Manual (same as M4 and Magnum). Nothing in it for them, but made me smile as I can now have a look inside my shiney forks without fear of not being able to put them together though!

lol - my forks have less than 2" of travel! Guess they were the budget forks of the range. Who cares, look cool!

Anyone wants a copy of the manual, pm me your email.

Pickle what year are your Manitous mate?

Haven't had a reply yet, but I personally date them to IRO '99.

If they turn out to be a 98 Mach 5 Pro, Sx, Sxr, Sxrs, Sxti.

Let me know as i've got an original manual you can have, Same as the one in the pic.

Kinda, they were just the previous years forks rebadged. So Mani 3's would have been something like £350 and the next year rebadged as Comps and dropped to £250.

Well, here is their response:

Jonathan

I don’t get stumped I.D.ing a fork too often but this one is close. The best I can figure is that it is a 2002 Manitou Six.
