I've come across an event on 8th Sept at which Graeme Obree will be talking about design and innovation (in case you don't already know, he's the fella who broke the world hour record on a home-made bike twice :shock

It's at Royal Geographical Society in London, 6.45pm-8.30pm.

Hi, yes I did go - very entertaining evening! There should be video of the event up sometime soon.

There were some real gems, especially from Obree, Patrick Field and Will Self. A lot of what G.O. was saying sounded crazy but then it obviously worked when he applied it!

I'll post a link to video if/when it becomes available - defo worth a watch!
