Got myself a 1995 Hahanna in excellent condition.

IMO (and i stress, it's my opinion) you've killed it.

It needed an original flat stem and bars, and some better pedals (which you have done), and it would have been made.

I've got some flat Easton bars in black.
As for the stem that came from a 1999 Hahanna.
What sort of stem would you advise fitting?
Any pics or a certain type?
Velocity stem will only fit threaded headset wont it?
Always ready to listen to advice.

This is what i would do;

Put the Project 2 forks back on, with a Velocity stem & Race Light bars.
Ditch the platform pedals, and get some proper caged ones to go with the clips 'n' straps. Get the canti brakes back on aswell.

But, it's your bike, it's just my opinion.

Not ridden cantilevers for years, found them to be crap compared to the v-brakes that are now fitted.
The cantis that came off had newish Ritchey pads.
Suspension isn't negotiable, have wrist problems on rigid.

Will try to find some more suited front suspension though.
Going to see some at weekend.

Awesome Kula Plus one .

Cheers :)

Your kona build it as you please and enjoy !! Clearly your enjoying it which
Is what it really boils down too .. Yes a shorter fork/stem with less rise and flat bar will improve handling and aesthetics .. But if it ain't comfy don't do it ;)

Nice one Tim, is it a local one or is it on a website?
If it's on a website do you have a link?

Ian, its a fairly local one in VGC, found in an old garage LOL

I'll have it in next day or so then I'll post a pic, cheap too!!

You got it yet?

Bike itself looks good, old konas always make me go a little moist, but my word those forks are far too long, they will be putting a shedload of stress on the headtube and it wont be good for the longevity of the frame, please change them for shorter ones!!

Already mentioned the forks several times
They have 100mm travel but am looking for something more suitable to the age of the bike. :)
