Goodbye Saab...

Here's the thing, we're retro nuts and thus the Saabs that exist especially the older ones are what we like. Who cares about the plastic fantastic future, give me an 80's Saab 99 anyday :D

By the way, does Saab still make planes ?

As a kid I collected 'The Encyclopedia of Aircraft', quite liked the Saab Draaken and Viggen military jets 8)

The Tunnen or flying barrel was my personal favourite Saab fighter. Loved the big Scania 141H as a kid too- in fact I can probably trace my V8 love back to that truck.

Saab havn't made a great car since the 70's. Here is my old 96.

You are wrong. My 900 classic is a great car. The 9000 is heavily underrated, though not so charactaristic and recognizable as SAAB.

Hey, I used to collect those as well! They're all still in the attic, I think. If I remember correctly, I stopped buying them when I got to issue 3,964....

I think it's sad that SAAB have been bought, screwed and scrapped. But its the same thing that happened to Rover.

Loved mine and would happily have another - been called some things too but not yet 'ugly'... ;-)
