I will ditto that scant, but the pads were cool, with their little individual pencil rubbers. . . but where would you get spares for those now. . . Its hard enough with real and matthausers, but those pads. . . Garage queens and museums I guess. .
 
I found the SCII's easier to set up than those dam SC's.
Nice little Dia-compe like tensioner at the back :lol:

yeah, that is true.. . the little 1/16" allen key for the original SC is a tad fiddly, but once set up, stays set up.
I guess the SCII was typical of the collapse of MTB heaven as we knew it, the migration of expensive CNC through to forging friendly designs. I don't think the SCII wasforged. . . but you can see where the game is going. . .
