Been there, done that. Hasn't been out of the garage for 7 years now. 2 kids and a wife qho couldn't work meant it got asked to pay the bills. Can't take said family on the back of it either. One day, one day.

Im 54 and just done the opposite, divested myself of car ownership.

Having cut out the car I now have a vast excess of cash. In order to simulate the car owning experience, once a month I roll out a wheelbarrow full of cash and set fire to it.
