Sleepless in the Saddle - Team of 4
Brighton Big Dog - Solo, retro (of course!)
Kona Cheddar Bike Fest - Team 4 on Saturday, Retro solo Sunday
South Downs Way night enduro - Solo

My knees are going to hurt! I've placed an order with Ay-up for some of their fine lights with extra batteries. Looking at the sunrise and set times, I should have just enough light for the South Downs Way enduro - I hope.

Anybody want to pair up for Marin Dusk Till Dawn in October? I'll rest in November..... :shock:

It is the SDW that is the biggest challenge, loads of climbing, fast descents and a whopping 80 miles off-road! The event is run from 6pm so I'll have all of an hour in daylight before the long haul through the night.

I wonder if Savlon will sponsor me?

I ordered my Ay-up lights at 10pm UK time Monday and by the time I got to work this morning (Tuesday) at 7 am, Ay-up had sent me two e-mails, the first to say the order had been received and the sent to say it had been dispatched!

I'd better start training......

I am considering the BHF 75mile Chiltern ride. Not sure I'll have the legs for it though.

Ah, right on the doorstep and I missed it! The race entries & lights have cost a fair amount and I already bugged my friends and family once this year for sponsorship, so I think I'll have to give this one a miss.

I'd probably be up for a less punishing Chilterns ride that weekend though if you are around?
