Looking at turning my Gary Fisher into a singlespeed and keen on replacement forks for the Judy's that are on her now.

How much would I get if I sold them? They are 1996 xc judys with inch and a quarter steerer and is 178mm long threadless. Good condition and they boing well but I will admit that front sus forks are a bit of a mystery to me. Strange thing with these forks is the ride does not seem to get any harder/softer if I tighten the red nut (told you I was cluless  ) Does this devalue them or is it an easy fix? Anyway looking to sell to get a nice rigid fork, thinking p2 but would that be a good choice?

Any suggestions and how much would I expect to pay?

Looking at selling my Brake/shifters too. Any idea what is a fair price for pair of good condition M567 LX's? Again suggestions for replacement levers only and cost?

May also sell my front and rear XTR der. Good condition M900's Any idea what they may be worth?

Thanks for your help. :D

Chances are that after 10 years the elastomers will be knackered, unless the forks have lived in a box for 8 of those years. The 1 1/4" will limit the appeal further, as will the fact that they are XCs and not SLs or DHs which tend to make the money. On the plus side they are clean and have the canti hanger brace which ups the retro appeal. Probably in the region of £20/30 judging by ebay's past performance unfortunately.

LX, not much but it's your M900 that'll make you cash, always a good seller-just check out the completed sales on ebay for a quick idea of worth

Thanks for that, wondered if I can even consider p2's?

Do they come in inch and a quarter size (old fisher size)? Can I get a shim? Will post in wanted for the forks but any help is welcome.

Dont think i've heard of P2's in 1.1/4" :? , definetely 1.1/8", an option would be to use these with headset reducers, would mean buying a new headset and stem though.

This mob sell the reducers, www.betd.co.uk

Thanks for that- reducer is an option but think getting some forks with a inch and a quarter steerer is my first choice. Want to keep the ringle stem and this saves cost on the reducers too.

Really cannot live with the judy's, the steering is just not sharp enough and this will be a road bike only. Even the vector 2's are more direct fork albeit about 5 kg heavier

That said the forks are really great (they will be up for sale very soon)
