Looking at the stamped plate rear dropouts that looks like one of the cheaper frames.

yeah, the colour and the chrome effect sticker kind of remind me of the style of those merckx badged
bikes of the 70's ?

just checked frame has got a slight bend in it,headset must be normal as i put a nut on that i had in the garage,need to get a few other things out the way first lol,any idea on year etc and what brakes it would have had
ive done a bit of reading and that colour never had q/r wheels or a double crank
