I took of of them apart in order to spray the stem. What do you need to know?

If it's a nice NOS or relatively unused one, you can take the bolts out of the sides and nothing happens. You need to carefully prise the round bits surrounding the hole that the bolt came out of, firstly with a knife blade (take care!). Soon you should be able to see a tiny crack appear and you can move onto a screwdriver blade. Once these are out, it will fall apart as above.

which I only found after getting mine into pieces
The round inserts are actually threaded. Remove the M6's in the side and then I think its either M8 or 5/16 down the same hole that the M6 came from, they only have a couple of threads so be carefull and hope that they are not allready damged :?

ok thanks for the info, ive taken it almost apart, apart from the alu threaded part and the rubber washer bits on the t-bone part, i am thinknig of getting it sprayed. i was using a knife to try and prize it the rubbery parts off, might let it soak in hot water to soften the rubber

Rubber bits - as in the damper washers or the bits in the pivot ?
The bits in the pivot are plastic - remove the ally pivot first (thread a long bolt in to use as many threads as possible - lock it off with a nut & washer and then knock it out sidewayds with a dead blow hammer) and then the plastic top hats can he knocked out from either side.
