I'm looking at a helmet at last... due to peer pressure ;)

Giro seem to do nice one's looking on CRC I can get
Havoc for £45
and
Phase for £50

I like the price on the Indicator (£25), but the two above look like they will be a comfier fit and more durable.

I assume the Phase is just a remodel of the Havoc (as Havoc is not on Giro's site and the description is the same)

The last helmet I ever used was er BiTD when I had to (a black sides with white middle Giro Lemond thing)

ANYWAYS
What I am asking is how do they fit ?
Do they tend to be big or small for the measured size?
I ask as I'm 58.5cm
and guess what the cut off point is
Medium (55-59cm) & Large (59-63cm)

In my experience, the cheaper you go, the less venting you get and the sweatier you get.

I used to have a Havoc before I broke it  and bought a Phase to replace it as that was the closest thing. In my mind the Phase is a far comfier helmet with better adjustment and I recommend it heartily for VFM.

As for sizing, I recommend a trip to your friendly Giro-stocking LBS to try it on and then if it's cheaper from CRC buy it there.....
