I normally have two lady outriders on our NW meets, they aren't members on RB though.

John's point is very valid though, collecting things, especially old things is very much a male sport.

As Gav says, once you get off the internet and into the real world; girls on bikes do exist, even on Retrobike rides.

Forums + bikes + collecting old tat = mostly men.

I collect old things - been married to one for a long time! - I also have a few old bikes and appear on occasion on RB rides.

Ignoring the blatant sexism of the Harry Enfield clip by another contributer   RB is a very accessible forum and I've had lots of good advice and support from you chaps!

Long may it continue!

  its all fun i would be suprised if we didnt have a fair few female bikers on site, like most forums i find on most forums they are not as vocal as blokes unless its a gaming site or facebook then the male will more than likely find himself thye minority

Women not as vocal?

Perhaps you are confusing talking with saying something?

:)

I've managed to clock up 900 posts on here.

Not bad for a girlie!

Which underlines what I was intimating, women tend to think about what they say, (though generalising is terrible in any context). I have yet to meet a woman who, by this criterion, was less vocal than a man.

Women tend to be less likely to jump in and take control without having a clue, more open to advice.

My best experiences in being managed have been under women, and they tend to be the glue that binds teams together.

What on earth would we do without them?
