Gipiemme Dual Sprint pedals thread size

Retro Newbie
Hello,
I was hoping someone here would be able to help me.
I have Gipiemme Dual Sprint pedals and I've damaged the thread on the axle and on the locknut of one of the pedals.

Does anyone know what is the exact thread size on this? I'm looking to try and redo the thread on both however if this fails I'll just have to look for replacement pair or one or just the axle and nut.

Thank you

9/16” with 20TPI threads

I believe some French bikes used 14mm x 1.25 threads

Think he means at the other end of the axle. Gipiemme were Italian so I'd guess that it'll be a standard metric thread of some sort. Lots of Gipiemme parts were pretty much interchangeable with Campag Record and those used M7x0.75 threads at the cone end of pedal axles.

Thank you for the reply. I've attached an image of the damaged part. Do you believe Campagnolo would do as a replacement?

I believe (but have no proof) that Campagnolo Gran Sport pedal axles are almost identical and can be interchanged with the Sprint pedals. I don't think that Campagnolo Record can be used as the crank end of the axle is wider.
