Retro Newbie
Recently purchased my first new bike in over 30 years....my first (that I still own and ride) is a 1980 Pantographed Gios Torino Super Record, all Campy Super Record Equiped., mint condition. I recently purchased an older, used Gios Titanio frame, which I am building up with an Campagnolo Athena Group, polished of course. H t Son's polished rims, polished seat post, stem, and bar. I going for an earlier period look, with modern technology. I wish to know what year it is; is there anywhere on the frame that has this information? The bottom of the bottom bracket has the frame size, but nothing that looks like a date?! Anyone out there have any ideas?? Thanks

Contact the men themselves, still building lovely frames in sunny Italy and interested in the retro scene.

Send an email to Marco enclosing pictures of your Gios's and he will tell exactly what they are and the production run and any Pro' teams if any that used that bike/frame.

I did have a direct email address to Marco but can't find it

Gios can be contacted here.....http://www.gios.it/

Gios also have a facebook page too, so if you use facebook then this is a quicker way....
