Giant Cadex For Sale

16-inch Giant Cadex, bought around 1993. Would suit height up to 5'10.

Components are a mixture, mostly XT, but with a few lower spec bits where I've swapped them on to my current bike. The forks are Rock Shox Mag21. Overall condition is good, with just a few superficial scuffs on the paintwork.

Price-wise, I'm looking for £150. Collection only, either from Oxford or south London.

pretty interested in this, always liked the cadex... before i make an offer could you please let me know the full spec breakdown? and how does everything spin? bearings ok? general condition? everything straight? some closer pics would be great

Here is the full spec. Note that components marked with a * are replacements for the original (mostly XT) parts. They’ve been put on so that the bike can be ridden, but I guess you might want to replace them. The biggest downgrade is the wheels.

Frame: 16-inch “Monex1” carbon fibre
Frame geometry: Seat tube - 17in centre-top, 15.5in centre-centre
Top tube – 21.5in centre-centre

Forks: Rock Shox Mag 21 (could probably do with an oil change)

Everything is straight etc. The chain has 1 dodgy link, which I haven't got around to fixing, so it jumps a little but can probably be easily rectified.
