Our community bike project has been donated this bike. The project is a charity run initiative which refurbishes old bikes to provide much needed transport for people with very limited resources. Almost all the bikes that we lend out are hybrids or MTBs as drop bar road bikes aren't practical or popular with our clients. We sometimes sell donated bikes that aren't destined for the project, but this one isn't fully working and we lack the replacement parts to make it so.
Neither gear shifter is working. The cables look clean and aren't corroded, and the derailleurs move when the cables are pulled manually. The brakes operate normally. I've considered a flat bar conversion, but I think the road oriented cogs and double chainring won't make for a very usable commuter bike.
The 57cm frame itself is in a nice colour and looks in reasonably good condition bar the inevitable scuffs and scratches.
