Giant 89/90-ish identification; help required

Any Giant aficionados out there.
Intrigued - the chrome forks cannot be original surely.
Thumbshifters, that kind of "ripped" tricolor paint job, late 80's early 90's - any ideas on model?

Not necessarily a Giant afficionado here, but if I recall correctly, early 90s Giants had the brand name in a different font, so I'd say this frame stems from half way into the 90s.
