I am 44 and 1/12, nothing serious age related yet. The eyesight thing, well I wear glasses for driving and all that. My back has been bad since 12/13 so if I am able to walk I consider it fine.
The wife has bothered me to get my prostate examined. I have bought her some Marigold Extra Lifes and a pen torch, but so far no joy.
Probably in better health than ever, but that is down to less dangerous activities rather than anything else, I always used to be carrying injuries back in the day.
One thing I have noticed is that drink and drugs have a longer term effect on me than when I was, say, 24.
Guess I can afford more now.

Age is just a number says the 47 year old. Despite my recent health problems I am still fitter than most people half my age.

The older I get the less I give a sh1t about the little stuff.
The stuff that was big ( career, big house, finger on the pulse of the world ) has become little.
The small stuff ( in the woods on a bike, cuddling, the daffodils of spring ) became huge.

I cant see close up without specs, I take longer to heal these days.
I have most of my own teeth still, Ive had cancer in the past I cycled to my chemo.
I can ride for 6 hours without dying, cover 200 miles a week going to work, I'll climb 'anything' in the saddle, I have a six pack, dont drink or do drugs. I do have a problem getting enough fuel inside me Im sure my appetite has reduced.
Im nearly 54
