Unlike a lot of people here, I like building and ogling retro bikes, but I dont ride them in anger. IMO Rigid forks = slow. Slow = no fun. If people like Turner and Bradbury weren't out there creating 'fussy' suspension systems then we'd all be over at STW or MTBR talking about the latest rigid fork design. Yawn.
If there wasn't 50-1 people stoked vs. bothered with the RS-1, the company would have gone nowhere. Same with Manitou.
This could turn into an argument of retro enthusiast vs. retro grouchiness.
