Genuine, I have one the same, does yours have the size cast on the lower stem? Mine is on a my Imholz, (see swiss gem headed post) which has 1974 components on an early sixties frame so my guess is mid seventies

Hi t47b,

Thanks for your estimate - it's not my stem but one I was thinking about buying - and you have confirmed what I suspected, that the stem would not be period correct for my bike.

I've found a nice Cinelli XA but I am a little worried about the clamp size - seller says it has a 26mm clamp but I've measured it to 26,2mm so whether the seller has misled me or my calipers are not true will be revealed during the next few days :?
