Sadly I have to say stupid seller. It's not like there's not a great search engine in Google that he could have typed 'Klein Attitude' into, or an option in ebay for him to search historic sales or indeed current sales.

Key thing is he valued it a £50 and he's got his money so he's probably happy enough. What would really hurt is if someone emailed him to tell him otherwise......

Undoubtedley a bargain but just out of interest, how much would it cost and how hard would it be to get the frame to "fuselage" stage ?, i.e replacing the bearings, finding the correct MC1 bar/stem, Klein crown forks or Strata forks ?, getting them colour matched to the frame ?

Their were two lonely forks looking for a frame last week. only had to be resprayed. johnrock could respray that frame as new. any bearing stockist would have them. just finding a fitting kit. But their are a few Klein experts on this site who would i'm sure know/help

Price of a complete frame :? i'd guess £500+

I would have got it resprayed in 'sunburst' just like i had

i guess GBP 600 and some patience would be AT LEAST needed to get the parts (unicrown/bar combo/bearings) and maybe repaint colour matching. with suspension fork cheaper.

ah...tintin40 was a bit faster...but our cost estimates do not differ that much
