Hi tensile steel is the preserve of the cheapo bike and most of you would not be found dead on one !
Has any manufacturer managed to produce a hi-ten bike that was actually quite good. A bike that either had perfect geometry or dealt with the weight issue or rode well despite its build material.
I have found older lugged frame Raleighs or a Schwinn I had that were quite reasonable.
Please no condemnation of how bad hi-ten bikes are, we all no most
of it :roll: .
I just want to know if there were any gems that succeeded despite themselves :shock:
