Gary Fisher saddle, seatpost and grips (1991)

Hi… I am searching for several parts to complete my Montare project…

1. Viscount-saddle with Gary Fisher logo
2. Fisher-seatpost, black, 28.6 / 300-350mm
3. gary fisher grips (similar to the attached picture, just all black)

I know what you are looking for! Just found mine after some years! There was another Trail Tail saddle on ebay.com a week ago. Went for $90!

Luckely I was able to find a NOS saddle and a black pair of Fisher grips for my Mt Tam from 1991.

…yes, I was bidding on that very saddle myself… but 90 $ :shock: …I just couldn't afford that much money… I am happy you found one. Makes me hope for some more NOS saddles out there…

your bike project looks nice! a great Fisher that is… since I am fairly new to the retro scene, I am wondering: how do you replicate those decals?

I bought the Montare just a couple weeks ago. the frame is in good shape, only little wear. i guess i will keep it that way… the only thing that was broken was the dx front shifters. i just bought one NOS…

to get it back into it's glorious original state, i only have to get my hands on the above mentioned parts, and the wheels. used to have araya rm20 rims and dx hubs. must have been changed over the years… some new pedals i might add as well.

The decals for my Mt Tam were made by Gil_m. A member on here who you have to turn to if you need decals. He's got a lot on file!

If you are looking for NOS Araya rims you might want to take a look at this. I just ordered 28 rims for members on here, but he's willing to send abroad now!

By the way, I bought my sadle for $85! :shock: Were looking for one for 2 years and when I finally saw one on ebay, I had to have it! Two weeks later there was another one on ebay.com! Luckely for me it went for $90!
