Gary Fisher RS1 update

It's my summer joke. I have bought 2 RS1 and I decided to join them.
RS1 ?
RS1 for Rock Shox 1, for me, one of the more mythic fork, not the best but so cool !
RS1 for Gary Fisher RS1, the first bike which seems to be a modern bike


So, picture of the joke :

Well… it's really not acceptable…

This bike, like modern bike is full suspension and disc brake.
But, on contrary with modern bikes, it's still look like a bicycle

The ride is fine, very confortable. The elastomers are quite dead (too soft) but the bike is still stiff and the suspension still work with precision.

I try to do a replica of the "Gary Fisher's prototyp : so, RS1 for the fork, and a full campy groupo.
If I would want to put a disc brake fork, I would need a Mert Lawill

Or a Suspenders . Great bike, a real speciality & apiece of history.

It would be great too for the pro-stop brake.
But it wouln't be a RS1 with a RS1

This bike is just awesome mate, I've been looking at the one on ebay (far too small) and did a search and found yours!

The cranks are Sugino right? Do you know the model? I've been looking for those ones for a long time!
