Gary Fisher Gemini MTB Tandem £550 Reduced to £400

Just discussing this with the other half. Give me a minute and might have persuaded her!
We've just married, so hopefully no imminent danger of splitting

I really like the idea of these, Are the cranks proper tandem affairs? And, how on earth does it stop with catilever brakes, this must be a runaway train in the rain? sorry I had to.

They're proper tandem cranks yes. Brakes are Suntour Self Energisers, which are more powerful than standard cantis... about the same as V brakes but not as powerful as discs.

If it persuades anyone, for another £75 I can include a Rock Shox fork (Judy chassis, coil sprung, 80mm travel) that I got for the tandem when I bought it but never fitted. The fork's never been used. It has disc mounts for anyone who's nervous about front braking on a tandem. So £475 with the unused Rock Shox included

Tandems make or break a marriage...
We love ours, it's fantastic fun.

Fitting Maguras does transform the braking.

Compared to modern bikes the top tube reach is quite short. I'm 5ft 10ish and need a very long stem on it, the saddle high and a very wide riser bar (as in photo). Where are you in Somerset? You're welcome to come and take a look. I'm in Long Ashton, just south of Bristol.
